WideStack

Some problems don’t fit neatly into one job description. Neither do I.

Bring me the problem. I’ll help figure out what it needs, then I can help make it real.

Sometimes that’s software. Sometimes it’s AI, product, process, research, data, design, automation, or something simpler.

Tell me what's going on

You don’t need to know what you need before we talk.

You might call me when…

You have an idea but don't know how to make it real.

A product, experience, tool or new way of doing something is still mostly in your head.

Something in the business isn't working the way it should.

It's too manual, too slow, too confusing, fragmented, expensive, or everyone has simply learned to live with it.

You know something needs to change, but you don't know what the answer is.

That's often the best place to start.

Perfect. You don’t need to know the solution before we talk.

Hi, I’m Ché.

Developer by training. Business operator by experience. Problem solver by nature.

I’ve spent my career moving between technology, customers, product, operations, commercial teams and leadership.

I tend to end up in the gaps between disciplines, where the problem is important but doesn’t belong neatly to one person or function.

WideStack is where I get to bring all of that to the problem in front of me.

I’ve spent my career building this stack.

My career has crossed software engineering, systems, customers, leadership, commercial strategy, product and AI.

The common thread has always been the same: understand what someone is really trying to accomplish, simplify the problem, and make the solution work in the real world.

Problems I’ve helped solve.

The Presence Practice

The founders knew the experience they wanted to create but didn't need five different specialists to turn it into a brand, product, user experience and working application. I helped shape the product, created the visual identity and brand direction, designed the experience, architected and built the application, integrated AI-generated personalized audio and subscription payments, and helped take it from idea to launch.

Clio Custom Manager

A law firm had critical operational workflows that didn't fit neatly into its existing software. I mapped the work and built a custom management experience around the way the team actually operates, including deadlines, settlements, filtering, reporting and operational visibility.

From the very beginning, she understood the vision behind the app with almost uncanny clarity. She was able to take complex, abstract ideas and transform them into a polished, seamless, beautifully functioning product faster than I thought possible.

Developers who also naturally understand vision, energy, user experience, branding, and innovation are even rarer.

Working together can be as small or as big as the problem.

Think it through

Want another senior brain on something? We can work through it together.

Figure it out

The problem is real, but the answer isn't obvious. I'll investigate, clarify and work out what makes sense.

Build it

We know enough to make something real. I can take responsibility for the project and implementation.

Stay involved

Sometimes you need ongoing senior product, technology or problem-solving capacity without hiring a whole team.

The size of the engagement follows the size of the problem.

Got something you’re trying to figure out?

You don’t need a brief, a requirements document or even a particularly good explanation.

No pitch deck required.

Don’t worry about making it polished. Tell me what’s happening, what you’re trying to make happen, or what’s been rattling around in your head.

Not sure this is a WideStack thing? Send it anyway. I’ll tell you.
